- Involves incorporating selected technology into evaporation/crystallization as the main produced water treatment option
- Currently responsible for ensuring that installed water treatment and steam generation equipment meets expectations
- Assessed energy impact and green house gas emissions when using a crystallizer
- Water treatment specialist for planned new SAGD facility
- Conducted risk analysis on Phase 1 disposal pipe lines
Komex –(Husky – Sunrise)
- Evaluated the use of alternative water sources other than ground water and river water
- Alternate sources included:
-Process-affected water from open-pit tailings facilities
